Ford City Mall has partnered with Go Green for the Cause. Collection bins have been placed on the Cicero Avenue Entrance.
Go Green for the Cause Corporate Mission; Go Green for the Cause is an environmentally conscious 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization committed to making a difference by being a part of the solution and not part of the problem. Striving to make a greener tomorrow, Go Green for the Cause established its own recycling program with the goal of keeping reusable items out of our landfills and recycling these donations to generate funds necessary to help those in need as well as other worthy non-profit organizations.
It is a fact that without recycling initiatives such as ours and many others, we will run out of precious natural resources. On our website, we have plenty of information about textile recycling. We urge you to spend a few minutes looking over our website as we are sure you will be amazed at how many people you have already helped by donating your clothing to Go Green for the Cause instead of throwing it in the trash.
